The concerts for Prague confirmed as follows:
Bethlehem Chapel / Betlémská Kaple. No website of their own, this chapel was built in 1391 and was home to much of Jan Hus' preaching in Czech before he was burned at the stake. Pulled down at the end of the 18th century, was faithfully rebuilt on the remains according to the original plans and drawings in the 1950s. now used for conferences, national events and many concerts. Confirmed time for this concert is 13.00 on Saturday 18th.
Church of S Ignatius / Kostel Svateho Ignace. Begun in 1665, this fabulous building with its wealth of gilding and flamboyant stucco decoration is typical of the Baroque churches built by the Jesuits. Confirmed time of this concert is 18.30 (after mass) on Saturday 18th.
We will also sing in the 9.30 service on Sunday 19th at the Evangelical Church, Farní sbor ČCE U Salvátora, on Salvátorská, just into Josefov from the main square.
This means that if we could fit in the run up the hill on Saturday afternoon to do the pilgrim church Loreta, we would be performing in all 4 of the main quarters of Prague :)
